The value per dollar is genuinely unmatched, which is why so many labs standardise on it. Weigh that against support: documentation and after-sales are thinner than Western incumbents, and teams without in-house robotics engineers tend to underestimate the integration effort. For teaching and research it is usually the right call; for an unattended commercial deployment, budget for support.
