HX-35HM is a serial bus servo with a non-contact magnetic encoder, reporting position over the full 360 degrees. Position feedback is what separates it from a hobby servo: the controller knows where the horn actually is, not just where it was told to go.
It is used as a joint servo in arms and legged robots, and daisy-chains over a single bus so a multi-joint build stays wired cleanly. Sample code is published for 8051, Arduino, STM32 and Raspberry Pi.
Three options are listed: the servo itself, a bracket pack for mounting, and a metal servo horn. Order brackets with the servo if you are building rather than replacing — sourcing matching brackets separately later is the usual delay.
