Overview
AiBlock is an ESP32 building-block kit aimed at upper-primary and lower-secondary students — roughly P4 to Sec 2. Sensors daisy-chain over I2C, so a class wires a working circuit without reading a pinout, and the same build is programmed in Scratch first and Python later.
It fits an Applied Learning Programme or a maker space where one set has to serve a wide age range. Because the parts are LEGO-compatible, existing brick stock carries over and students design their own chassis rather than assembling a fixed model.
Three kits are offered. Starter covers basic input and output; Standard adds the sensor range most lesson plans need; Advanced is worth it only if you intend to run the AI vision and voice work. For a first purchase, Standard is usually the right call — you can add modules later without replacing the controller.
