Overview
The Hiwonder PuppyPi is an open-source ROS quadruped robot dog powered by the Raspberry Pi. Eight coreless servos with a linkage-leg design and an onboard IMU give it agile, self-balancing gaits, while a 2-DOF HD camera drives AI vision such as target tracking and face detection. Compatible with ROS1 and ROS2 and programmable in Python, it supports optional TOF LiDAR for 360-degree scanning, SLAM mapping and autonomous navigation, plus a multimodal AI model (ChatGPT).
